EUGENE, Ore. – San Diego State senior Jenna Fee Feyerabend concluded one of the most accomplished careers in program history on Saturday, finishing 15th in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Competing against the nation’s top multi-event athletes, Feyerabend amassed 5,709 points across seven events over two days to secure her third career top-15 finish at the Championships. The performance capped a season that included a Mountain West heptathlon title and a conference-record score earlier this spring.

After the opening day of competition on Friday, Feyerabend sat 18th overall following the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m dash. The German native’s strongest event came in the shot put, where she recorded a throw of 13.82 meters to place third in the field and earn 782 points. She also added valuable points in the hurdles and high jump, clearing 1.72 meters in the latter event.

The senior entered the second day with an opportunity to climb the standings thanks to her strength in the throwing events. Feyerabend delivered on that potential, again proving she belongs among the nation’s elite combined-event athletes. The result marked another chapter in a career that has seen her consistently compete on college track and field’s biggest stage.

Feyerabend’s journey to Eugene was particularly notable after battling injuries. Despite those setbacks, she returned by capturing her third straight Mountain West heptathlon championship and setting a conference meet record with 5,905 points, punching her ticket to the NCAA Championships.

Throughout her career, Feyerabend established herself as one of the premier heptathletes in SDSU history. Prior to this season, she had already earned multiple All-America honors and posted some of the best heptathlon scores ever recorded by an Aztec.

Her final appearance for the season provided a fitting conclusion to that legacy. On the sport’s biggest collegiate stage, Feyerabend once again represented San Diego State among the nation’s best. Feyerabend plans to return in the Fall for one last indoor season.
