🏐 Point Loma volleyball reaches semifinals with historic run, Nua voted D2CCA National Player of the Year
Point Loma swept Bentley 3–0 in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, dominating with efficient offense and steady defense. Saren Rogers (14 kills) and Abigail Nua (7 kills, 14 digs) powered the Sea Lions, who controlled all three sets to advance to the national semifinals. In the final four, Point Loma battled but fell 3–1 to Concordia–St. Paul. Nua was outstanding with 21 kills, while Hailey Clark added 10, yet Concordia’s balanced attack and strong blocking proved too much as the Sea Lions’ best postseason run in program history came to an end.
Senior outside hitter Nua was voted the D2CCA Ron Lenz National Player of the Year. Junior setter Sophia Baugh and senior libero Macy Reynolds also earned All-American honors. Monster congratulations to the trio!
