🏐 Collegiate Volleyball
It’s tournament season for college volleyball, and the University of San Diego and Point Loma Nazarene are making the most of it. Over the weekend, USD won the Husky Invitational, its second tourney win this season, while PLNU dominated in the Colorado Premier Challenge, dropping only three sets during the entire four-match tournament.

⚽ Collegiate Soccer
San Diego is emerging as a powerhouse for collegiate soccer this fall. SDSU and USD women’s soccer programs went undefeated in all four combined games this weekend.
Under the stewardship of second-year head coach Greg LaPorte, the USD Toreros are off to their best program start ever. The Toreros defeated Cal Baptist 3-2 on Retro Night to keep their undefeated streak alive, with 3 wins, no losses, and 4 draws. Go T-Ros, Go! The Aztecs won back-to-back games over Pepperdine and UC Riverside: Seven goals in two matches. For her efforts, Victoria Miller earned Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors.
