SAN DIEGO — The UC San Diego women's rowing varsity eight boat won the Cal Cup for the first time in program history on Sunday as part of the Tritons' two-day competition on Mission Bay at the San Diego Crew Classic. Congrats, Tritons!


🏐 San Diego Mojo Pro Volleyball
HENDERSON, Nev. – Sparked by standout performances from outside hitter Kendra Dahlke and middle blocker Regan Pittman, the San Diego Mojo took down the Vegas Thrill in four sets on Sunday evening, 26-24, 24-26, 25-17, 25-17. San Diego (7-13) snapped a three-match losing streak to keep their postseason hopes alive. Dahlke collected 21 kills in the win and led the match in scoring with 23 points. Pittman matched her season high with seven blocks, tied for the second-most in Mojo history, and added five kills for 12 points.

RENO, Nev. – After dropping the first two games at Nevada, San Diego State softball team (22-12, 6-3 Mountain West) won 1-0 in extra innings on Saturday. Three Aztecs singles in the eighth allowed Bella Espinoza to score the only run of the game as Cece Cellura kept the Wolf Pack scorless to secure the 1-0 victory.

SAN DIEGO – San Diego Women's Tennis dominated in a 4-0 win over Loyola Marymount in just over two hours. The Toreros move to 2-0 in conference play.

Following Friday’s victory in Laramie, San Diego State women’s tennis completed a road sweep on Sunday with a 4-2 win at Colorado State.

IRVINE, Calif. – Playing its second Big West match in as many days, UC San Diego downed UC Irvine, 4-3, Thursday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium. The Tritons improved to 9-7 overall and 4-2 in Big West play.
💦 Making a Splash: Waterpolo

Playing its first game in two weeks, the No. 10 UC San Diego women's water polo team lost a close one, 13-11, at No. 6 Long Beach State Saturday. Caroline Christl extended her goal-scoring streak to 19 games, and has scored multiple goals in 17 of 25 games played.

A 9-3 Fresno State run in the third quarter made the difference in the No. 20 SDSU Water Polo loss to No. 9 Fresno State, 15-9.
🥍 High School Lacrosse
Congratulations to Coronado High School. According to MaxPreps, Islanders lacrosse is ranked tenth in the nation (fourth in California) while Lax Numbers ranks them first in the west (that’s 12 states baby!)
