🏐 Volleyball Strong in Second Week of Conference Play
Can you say clean sweep? USD (11-4, 4-0 WCC) defeated both St. Mary’s and Pacific in straight sets to begin a stellar start to West Coast Conference Play.

🏐 The Aztecs (9-6, 4-0 MW) are also undefeated in conference play, handling Air Force, 3-1, and sweeping Nevada this week. This conference start is the team’s best ever.

🏐 The Tritons (4-12, 2-2 Big West) save their best for the strongest teams in the country. After dropping the first two sets to top 30 UC Santa Barbara (11-5, 3-1 Big West), the Tritons came roaring back, winning the next two and vying for the reverse sweep. The Tritons saved a set point at 14-13 to tie the game at 14-14, then lost the next two to lose the fifth set in a thriller, 16-14. Molly McCluskey led the Tritons with 25.5 points off of 21 kills, 4 aces, and .5 block.

🏐 Make that 10 straight wins for Point Loma (12-1, 2-0 Pac West) with a 3-1 defeat over Dominican! After six straight sweeps, an opponent finally won a set. Dominican got the moral victory and that’s as close as any recent rival has come to anything resembling a win.
