Mojo’s season comes to a close (and the franchise is slated to do the same)

  • The team’s championship and franchise run ended after falling to the No. 2 Dallas Pulse in four sets. Read more about the team’s final match here.

  • San Diego may be forever known as the comeback kids. The team won 14 of their last 22 games after starting the season 1-6.

  • The Toreros dominated Seattle, sweeping the series to close out their season with an emotion-packed senior day. Read more here.

Ultimate

  • The Super Bloom defeated Seattle Tempest, 20-16, fending off a late Tempest rally to weather the storm and maintain its first-place standing in the Southern Conference of the Western Ultimate League.

Point Loma Nazarene

Tennis

  • Congratulations to the Sea Lions who defeated Hawai’i 4-2 to advance to the Division II NCAA tournament beginning May 19 in Surprise, Ariz. Read more here.

Golf

  • The Sea Lions placed ninth in the NCAA West Regional, with Annike Yturralde placing third out of 98 players. Yturralde earned an individual qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships!

UC San Diego

  • Tritons softball took two losses in the Big West Championships, falling to UC Santa Barbara and Long Beach State, bringing the season to an end.

CSU San Marcos

  • The Cougars came through the elimination bracket in the CCAA Tournament to force a second championship game, losing to Cal State East Bay, 5-1.

  • CSUSM is the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Division II West Regional and will host its first game at CSUSM Softball Stadium on Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m.

  • Kaila Pollard made the First Team, while Jade Ignacio secured a spot on the Second Team. Lala Macario and Quinn Waiki both walked away with Honorable Mention awards.
