Slated: What’s on tap in San Diego’s women’s sports
It won’t be easy but it might just be possible to catch every women’s home sporting event in San Diego this weekend. The action starts Saturday morning with SDSU vs. PLNU tennis, followed by hoops: PLNU at 2 p.m. and UCSD at 4. Wrap up the weekend Sunday at Viejas Arena, where Mojo Pro Volleyball takes the court. Honestly, what weekends were made for.
Prefer to hunker down at home? We’ve got you covered there, too. SDSU faces UNLV in Las Vegas in a clash of conference heavyweights, and when the final buzzer sounds Saturday, only one will remain unbeaten in conference. Meanwhile, SDSU and UCSD head to Orlando to compete at the Cheer and Dance Nationals.
And, one more thing. Who was your favorite Wave FC player in 2025? Vote in our poll today. We’ll share the results next week.
