The team moved into second place with a win over Racing Louisville FC to move into second place in the NWSL standings. With the 2-0 win, Louisville was officially eliminated from playoff contention.

The win marks new single-season club records for both wins and points and their seventh away win of the season for another club record. Read the recap here.

SDSU traveled to Fort Collins to face a Colorado State team that is receiving national votes. The Rams were selected to finish first in the Pac-12, but the Aztecs were able to push the team, eventually falling in four. Read more on the match here.

The team bounced back to secure their first Pac-12 win over Fresno State with a sweep on Saturday.

The team opened the Big West on the road at Cal State Northridge, taking a 1-0 win.

The Tritons then tied 2-2 against Utah Valley on Saturday. Karize Madero and Kat Harris scored in the second half.

The Tritons started their conference play on a high, sweeping Cal State Fullerton on Friday on a new court. Read about the win here.

The team played home again the next day, losing in four tight sets to Cal State Long Beach. Make that ten straight for the Beach.

The Toreros started WCC play with a five set thriller to Saint Mary’s, losing in a tight battle, 10-25, 25-19, 12-25, 25-20, 16-14. Read the recap here. Here’s a crazy stat: The Toreros lost but had more total points than Saint Mary’s by a landslide, 103-88.

USD bounced back with a sweep over the University of the Pacific, out killing the Tigers, 44-26.

USD lost 3-1 to Santa Clara for the first game of conference play. Amanda Anders scored the lone goal for the Toreros. Fans might remember that Anders scored from 40 yards last season, creating a buzz in the sports world. Click this link to watch last year’s goal.

Soccer had a 2-0 shut out win over Chaminade to start its PacWest run. The team then went on to draw at one apiece against Hawai’i Pacific on Saturday.

The Sea Lions were swept by Hawai’i Hilo but then bounced back with wins over Dominican and Jessup on the road. Volleyball’s conference record is 5-2.
