SD Rebellion

Rebellion with three MVPs!

Heading into the Championship game, the Rebellion have three MVPs on the team. San Diego Rebellion

  • The Rebellion announced that three players are MVPs for the WNFC Western Conference.

  • Katie Claxton was named the Overall MVP, while the Offensive and Defensive MVPs are Kesz Wesley and Brittani Lusain.

  • The Rebellion are heading to the Championship, facing off against the Texas Elite Spartans June 21 at 1 p.m PT. Watch on Victory Plus.


San Diego Super Bloom

Semifinals Victory and Championship Disappointment

The Super Bloom reached the Championship game. San Diego Super Bloom

  • On Saturday, the Super Bloom defeated the Colorado Alpenglow in the Western Ultimate League Semifinals, 16-14. After being down 6-5 at the half, the Super Bloom battled back to go up 10-9 at the end of the third. After increasing the lead to 3 (12-9), Alpenglow came within one before San Diego pulled away again to win 16-14. Watch the Discraft Play of the Game here by scrolling to 2:05:23.

  • The team’s mantra, Sometimes You, Sometimes Me, Always Us, helped the team overcome the halftime deficit to snag the victory.

  • The Super Bloom went on to the Championships on Sunday against the Seattle Tempest, falling 13-8.

San Diego State

  • SDSU’s heptathlete Jenna Fee Feyerabend competed at the NCAA Championships on Friday and Saturday. Read our recap of her performance here.

  • For her performance, she was named an All-American. Congrats, Jenna!

Cal State San Marcos

  • Jillian Albayati was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association’s Female Athlete of the Year! Albayati helped the Cougars with a historic season, leading the way to a CCAA Championship, NCAA West Region title and to the Division II semifinals. Read about Albayati here.

Collegiate Schedules

  • The local universities have started to release their Fall 2026 schedules for volleyball and soccer, with the first look of the new Pac-12 opponents for SDSU.

We're taking our mission a step further to put you in the passenger seat with the people shaping the women's sports industry.

Our next guest is Nicole Roberton! With no agent and barely any game film, Nicole created a LinkedIn, posted her own training videos, and networked her way into her first professional contract in Denmark, leaving university behind to do it. What followed was a career spanning Denmark, Scotland, and Sweden, and a lifestyle she's committed enough to that she's four years into earning Swedish citizenship.
