Wave overcome a two-goal halftime deficit

  • Trinity Byars secured her 10th goal and second consecutive brace while Kenza Dali had her first goal of the year when the Wave took down Racing Louisville, 3-2, on home turf. Read more about the match here.

Volleyball in full swing

  • At the Gael Bear Classic, Triton head coach Spencer McLachlin secured his first victory with the team after taking down Saint Mary’s in four sets. The team went on to take a four-set loss from UC Berkeley on Saturday before defeating Gonzaga on Sunday in, what else? Four sets.

UC San Diego Soccer

  • UC San Diego faced University of the Pacific, a future WCC opponent for the 2027 season, taking a 2-0 win in La Jolla.

San Diego State

Volleyball faces steep competition in Seattle

  • In a matchup against IU Indy to open the season, the Aztecs took down the Jaguars in four sets. The Scarlet and Black were swept by Washington on the second day. Read the recap of game two here.

  • For the final day, the Aztecs faced UC Irvine, sweeping the Anteaters to leave Seattle with a winning record. Freshman Layla Austin led the way with 18 kills in the match.

SDSU Soccer

  • SDSU dominated University of the Pacific on home turf to tie the program’s record of the largest margin of victory against a Division I opponent, 7-0. Katie Senn bagged a brace, while five other Aztecs scored.

Volleyball gets two wins and loss to open the season

USD opened the season in Hawai’i over the weekend. USD Athletics

  • The Toreros were at the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic, facing No. 21 Baylor. USD was swept by the team before bouncing back with a 3-1 win over Georgia Southern to pick up the first win of the season.

  • The team went on to sweep Hawai’i to finish the Classic. Read about the final match here.

  • The Toreros traveled to Cal Poly on Thursday to finish with a draw at one apiece.

Point Loma Nazarene

The Sea Lions begin their fall athletics

  • Facing No. 10 University of Colorado Colorado Spring to open the season, the Sea Lions suffered a 6-2 loss. The team bounced back on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Metro State.

PLNU Volleyball

  • The team traveled to the Central Washington University Invitational to open the season, sweeping Western Washington. The team then took back-to-back losses from (RV) Central Washington and No. 15 Simon Fraser. Read our preview of the team here.
