Clinched! Mojo Pro Volleyball secured a playoff berth with their road sweep against the Columbus Fury.
San Diego's own Kelsey Plum led the way with 22 points as the WNBA’s LA Sparks came to San Diego and showed why they could be a serious contender this season.
Wave FC took "coming back” from the international break seriously. Down 2-0 at halftime, they stormed back to beat the Denver Summit 3-2. Big time.
SDSU tennis won the Mountain West Championship Tournament and Aztec Jo-Yee Chan was named the tournament MVP.
The San Diego Rebellion women’s football team remains undefeated with a dominant home win on Saturday.

LA Sparks

After 16 years, the WNBA’s LA Sparks were back in town, this time facing the Nigerian National Team. Kelsey Plum (La Jolla Country Day) led the team with 22 points and took time to visit to her alma mater. Read more.
Mojo Pro Volleyball

Mojo into playoffs with fourth straight road sweep

The Mojo fell to the Dallas Pulse in five sets during a rare home loss on Friday (read more about the game), then swept the Columbus Fury on Sunday to clinch a playoff spot. Read about the win.

Records records everywhere. The Wave FC overcame a halftime deficit (first time in franchise history) to take down the Denver Summit 3-2, while Lia Godfrey hit the record books as the first San Diego rookie to score a goal and have an assist in a match. Read about the game.

Aztec tennis best in the Mountain West

The Aztecs secured their third Mountain West Tournament Championship after taking down UNLV 4-1 in the championship game. Senior Jo-Yee Chan was named the tournament’s MVP.
The team punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament and will play UCLA in the first round on either May 1 or May 2, TBD.
SDSU Softball
Aztec softball went 2-1 in its series with Boise State, almost coming back in the opening game. Read more about it. See photos from Saturday’s win.

The Rebellion maintained their perfect 4-0 record with their strong defense after dominating the Golden State Storm, 17-0. Read about the game.
CSU San Marcos

The nation’s No. 3 DII softball team won one and dropped one against Concordia University on Tuesday, with a 43-6 overall record.
